Dishonorable discharge???

Did you raise your hand the second time and get sworn in on the RED carpet? Seriously if you did not do that than you are not AWOL. The only way that you can AWOL is after you swear in the 2nd and you decide not to get on the bus at that point yea they can make you, From what it sounds like is that you refused to ship and you recruiter and his buddies decided to put the fear in you I suggest that you go and either contact the MEPS legal or the Officer in charge and explain this, Have you received anything in the mail to back there claim they should have sent a discharge if you were in even if its only one day.
