Drinking age at 18?

I agree with you completely. I am currently 18 and at 18 I can go to war, take out loans, get married, get credit cards, get in debt, do hard time in jail, and many other things legally now. When you think about it 18 is a really big point in your life when all of a sudden you have a large weight of stress and responsibility put on you. So, I think that if I can be considered an adult and that the law thinks that I can handle such responsibilities as these, then I think I should be able to have a beer with my friends if I want and be trusted with that responsibility also. For goodness sakes of an 18yr old can join the army and kill another human being they should be able to unwind and have a drink afterwards. In comparison to something like taking another's life drinking really doesn't seem like it should be such a big deal.
