Motherboards list their CPU support many different ways. Frankly, I think you'd have a very hard time finding a socket 775 motherboard that didn't support this CPU. But it's always safest to check the list of supported CPUs for the particular motherboard you plan to buy. The manufacturers list them on their web sites.
