Christians: What advice would you give if someone can't believe in God?

I suggest that you talk to the pastor of the church your family attends. The pastor will be able to answer your questions thoroughly. Also, pray to God for wisdom and understanding. He will give it to you. Begin reading your Bible every day and see if God speaks to you. I'm sure he will. If you are ever in doubt simply call upon the Lord and ask for understanding.
