Did I handle mediation correctly?

I met with my wife who filed for Divorce.She cheated on me and stayed with guy.This guy is a criminal.He won't be able to support her.Previous phone conversations ended up in arguments. I am still upset of what she did. In mediation, she first agreed to joint custody then she came in after a break and said she wanted sole. After which I got upset and told her that I would fight her til the end with every penny, nickel, and dime for sole custody. I asked her if she read a report that the guy she is with is a danger to my kids. She said that she doesn't believe in the data about the guy (allegation of ual abuse of minor) because she talked to his sisters. I told her that of course his sisters were going to back him up. Then she told mediators you see he is always attacking me. Towards the end we made progress on visitation times for summer and agreed to communicate with notebook. She does not want any phone communication. Do you think I did well with my mediation?
