Hair straightener or iPod touch?

so i'm wondering which i should get. i have a nano at the moment (my mom said if i decided to sell it and get a touch she would buy it from me) and it's not what i expected it to be! I miss the touch! but i really want a good quality straightener! like a GHD or CHI or something like that. I have 2 conair straighteners (about 20-30 dollars) and they both work great but the don't smooth out my hair like after going to a salon and getting it straightened. which would you get? thanks!
