Honey gave me eye dark circles?

Two days ago I applied honey under my eyes before goign to bed. I never had dark circles before, I just used it because i thought it would make the areas under my eyes firmer and i thought it couldn't hurt as i've googled it and honey's supposed to be good for the eyed and dark circles. It has been sitting in my drawer for months, so i though not? I woke up the next day and saw droopiness under my eyes that weren't there before. The ares under my eyes now have two lines coming out from the inner part of my eyes. Why'd this happen? I don't know what to do now. These lines weren't thee before. My eyes were perfectly fine before, what have i done?? I thought i was just overreacting, but i'm not because i've been checking my eyes over and over again and these lines that were never there before are now there. Pls help.
